Simply put, this is the best bib pant in the sport. It's based on the Burton [ak] Freebird Bib Pant, but we went to town on additional features. For this second evolution in Mine77, we upgraded it to a 3L GORE-TEX® 70D stretch nylon engineered with 3L GORE-TEX® Stretch Topo fabric in key zones.

It has not been an easy challenge to improve upon the Burton [ak] Freebird Jacket. I've never experienced this level of freedom and mobility in a jacket before.

There is not a bigger fan of StepOn bindings than me. I was a player/witness/tester/complainer/tweaker and ultimately a praiser every step (no pun) of the way. It is all I have ridden for over two years. But, being the perfectionist that I like to think I am, I was beyond stoked when the binding crew dropped a StepOn EST binding on my coffee table.

If you've been following along, you know I like pockets. Lots of pockets, especially the zippered kind. That said, one thing that has always bugged me about gym shorts is that they seem to always have wide open pockets, if any pockets at all. Inevitably, my shit ends up falling out.

I really like the versatility of a midweight performance tech tee with comfortable specs; it's something that I feel has been missing from the Burton line and a piece that you'll find a use for in any season. This short sleeve tee feels great against the skin, whether it's a warm, spring days or the deepest depths of winter.

I've always loved merino wool. It's nature's miracle: highly breathable, quick-drying, warm, stretchy, and odor-repellent. The comfort is unbeatable. I harnessed that natural performance to create a versatile layering piece that combines an MFI hooded balaclava/facemask with a quality midweight first layer shirt.

For years I've had a stack of the exact same custom made stomp pads for use on all my boards. Whether you are riding an up and down one-footed traverse in the sidecountry, or riding down a gnarly icy ramp off a chairlift, one-footed performance has never been so good for me.

Call it what you will, but I refuse to pay the mini bar prices at hotels. I don't know how some of my friends do it! So I started traveling with the Burton Traverse Pack as my cocktail caddy. I'd load it up with an arsenal of beverages and paraphernalia and be set for my entire stay.

While it's true that I do have a pretty big quiver, there's something to be said for being able to grab just one board and head to the hill knowing you'll have a good time no matter what. For me, that board is the Process.
